Maliyekkl & Company

We’ve been here on Calicut Road for a while now. Most people around Karuvambram know where we are because we’re right on the main stretch. It’s a busy spot but we like it that way. We started Maliyekkl & Company as a small thing and it’s stayed pretty much that way, just a few of us working every day to get things done. There’s usually someone here from early morning until the sun goes down. We don’t have fancy offices or anything like that. It’s just a place where we do our work and talk to the people who stop by. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud but you get used to it after a few years. We handle the day-to-day stuff ourselves. If you walk in, you’ll probably see us sorting through papers or moving things around. It’s not a big corporate setup with receptionists. We just answer the phone when it rings and try to help out whoever is asking. The building is simple, nothing special to look at, but it works for what we need. People from the neighborhood drop in quite often just to check on things or ask a quick question. We’ve seen the road change a lot over the years, more shops opening up and more cars passing through. But we’re still here doing the same things we did when we first opened the doors. It’s just honest work in a place we know well.
