Malabar Hospital

Malabar Hospital is situated in Eranhipalam. If you are familiar with Eranhipalam, you know it’s a pretty steady part of town. Our building sits right where most people expect it to be. Every morning, the staff starts coming in before the sun is fully up to get things ready for the day. We have the usual hospital smells, like cleaning supplies and the stuff they use in the labs. It’s a practical space. We don’t have much in the way of decorations on the walls, just the necessary signs to help people find the right room. The waiting area has a bunch of chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. People sit there reading their phones or talking quietly while they wait for their turn. We see all kinds of people here, from kids with scraped knees to older folks coming in for their regular checkups. It’s just a part of the daily life in Eranhipalam. Sometimes the rain makes a lot of noise on the roof, and we have to put out mats so no one slips on the floor. The desk gets piled up with folders and notes, but we try to keep it organized as best as we can. It’s just a normal day at Malabar Hospital, nothing more and nothing less. We are just here doing our jobs in the neighborhood, keeping the lights on and the rooms ready for anyone who walks in.
