Malabar Hospital

Malabar Hospital is right here in Calicut, and if you know this part of Calicut, you know how it gets during the busy hours. We spend a lot of our time just keeping things moving along. The building has been here for a bit, and you can see that in some of the corners, but we keep it clean. People come in from all over the local area, sometimes just to ask a quick question or because they have an appointment they scheduled last week. It’s a busy place. Sometimes the lobby gets a little crowded, especially when the weather is hot outside and everyone wants to stay in the shade. We have the usual staff walking around in their uniforms, and there is always someone at the desk trying to sort out the paperwork. It’s not fancy, just a regular hospital where things happen every day. You might hear the traffic from the street if the doors stay open too long. We have a few benches outside where people sit and wait for their rides. Most of the folks who work here live nearby, so we see a lot of familiar faces coming through.
