Major Coffee Traders

We are based out of Calicut, operating under the name Major Coffee Traders. We don't have a fancy storefront with big glass windows, just a practical space where we can get our work done. Calicut has a lot of history with trade, and we feel like we’re just a small part of that ongoing story. Most of our days are spent checking on stock and making sure everything is moving the way it should be. It’s not always exciting, but it’s what we know how to do. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone telling us how to sound professional. We just talk to people like they are our neighbors, because usually, they are. The office is often a bit cluttered with samples and notebooks, but we know where everything is. It’s a hands-on kind of place. We’ve learned over the years that just being consistent is more important than being flashy. People in Calicut appreciate when you just do what you say you’re going to do. We don’t make big promises, we just try to be reliable. Some mornings start early when the deliveries arrive, and other days we stay late to finish up the billing. It’s just how things go around here. We’re happy with our small corner of the world and the work we do every day. It isn't perfect, and the phone rings more than we’d like, but it’s our business and we stick to it no matter how busy the day gets.
