M Shine Roofing is out in Puthuparamba, near the Kuttikode post office. If you’re looking for us, just ask anyone around the post office and they’ll point you the right way. We spend most of our time out on sites, so the office is often just a place to store materials and keep the books. It’s a dusty job, and we usually come back looking a bit a mess at the end of the day. We’ve been doing this for quite some time now. We know the local weather and how it affects the houses here, which is why we do what we do. We use whatever materials are best for the job at hand. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy website. Most of our work comes from people seeing what we did for their neighbor. We like working with our hands and seeing something finished at the end of the week. The sun can be brutal when you’re up on a roof, but that’s the job. We take breaks when we can and try to stay hydrated. It’s a small operation, just a few of us who know how to handle the tools. We don't make a big deal out of things. We just show up, do the work, and go home to our families. It’s a living, and it’s one we’re proud of.
