Chethana Packaging

We’re based in the Kinfra Industrial Estate. It’s a pretty well-organized area compared to some of the older spots. Our unit is one of many here. The good thing about being in the estate is that the roads are decent and the power is more reliable than in the town. We do packaging work, so our floor is usually covered with rolls of material and big machines. It’s a noisy environment most of the time. We have a small crew and everyone has their specific job. Some days are just about maintenance and making sure the cutters are sharp. Other days we are running full speed to keep up with what’s needed. We don’t have a big fancy office. There’s just a small desk near the front where we keep the paperwork and take calls. It’s a practical setup. We eat our lunch together in the small break area in the back. The air in the estate is usually filled with the sound of other factories nearby. It’s a working-class vibe. We’ve been here for several years and know the other owners around us. We just focus on our own tasks and try to keep things moving through the doors. There’s no marketing team or anything like that here. It’s just us doing the work and making sure the machines don’t break down in the middle of a shift. We stay until the last truck is loaded and the gates are locked for the night.
