Our office is tucked away at 5/16, right near S V Colony in the Eranhipalam area of Calicut. It's a busy part of Kozhikode, but our street is a bit more manageable than the main roads. We’ve been running this chit fund for a while now. It isn't a massive operation with hundreds of employees. It's just a handful of us who know the business well and work here every day. We don’t try to reinvent things or use big words to sound important. We just keep the books straight and the records updated. The office is functional, with enough chairs for the folks who come by to drop off their monthly installments. We talk about the weather, the local news, and then we get to the business at hand. It’s a very practical way for people to save and borrow when they need it. Sometimes the traffic in Calicut makes people a bit late, but we don't mind. We stay open until the work is finished for the day. There’s no glossy brochure here, just real numbers and real people. We prefer it that way.
