K C Soda

K C Soda is located at 268 in Puthiyara. Calicut is a busy place, and we are right in the middle of it. We spend our time making and selling soda. It’s a lot of carbonation and glass bottles, really. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, but we keep it busy. You can usually hear the sound of the machines from the street. It’s a local operation, and we don't have many employees. Just a couple of us doing the filling and the washing and the selling. We’ve been at this for a bit now, and we know the routine like the back of our hands. Sometimes the gas runs low or a bottle breaks, and we just have to deal with it. It’s not a polished business. There are crates stacked everywhere and the floor is usually a bit wet. But that’s what a soda shop looks like. People stop by when they’re thirsty or when they need stuff for a party. We don't do any big advertising. Most people just know we are here at 268. The neighborhood is alright, and we get along with the other shop owners. It’s hard work, especially when it’s humid out, but we keep the soda cold and the prices fair. We aren't looking to expand into some giant factory. We like being in Puthiyara and serving the folks who live nearby. It’s a decent living and it keeps us busy. That is just how we run things every day.
