Jmbestbuy Hypermarket Private Limited is located at 13/537/B in the Poolakkool area of Velom. We are based in the Koderi Kandi Thamasikkum Angadiparambath building. It’s a bit of a mouthful, but most people around here just know us as the local hypermarket. We started this because we wanted to have a proper store nearby so people wouldn't have to travel all the way into Vadakara for everything they need. It’s a simple setup. We have rows of groceries and some household goods. The aisles can be a bit tight when we are restocking, but we try to stay out of the way of the customers. We are just local residents who decided to go into business together. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate slogans. We just want to sell good stuff at a price that makes sense for the village. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use torches, but we stay open as long as we can. We do the cleaning and the heavy lifting ourselves. It’s hard work, but we enjoy the independence of it all. Every person who walks in is a neighbor to us. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just a straightforward shop for the people living in Velom. We are open every day except for major holidays when we take a rest to spend time with our families.
