We are located at 4/160 Makkalath House in the Palazhi area of Kozhikode. It is right near the PO.GA College, so there are always students and people moving around the neighborhood throughout the day. It’s a busy part of Kerala, but our office stays pretty focused on the tasks at hand. Equchef Impex is basically just us working out of this house-turned-office. It feels more personal that way, rather than being in a cold office park somewhere. We do a lot of import and export work, which keeps us on our toes and sometimes keeps us late. Kozhikode is a great city for this kind of business because of the history here, but we just look at it as our daily job. Most days involve a lot of logistics and talking to people on the phone about various shipments. We have a lot of files and stacks of paper because that is just how the impex business goes sometimes.
