Our small office is tucked away at the Maruthatt house in Payambra. It is not on a main highway, but if you go via Kunnamangalam, you will find us easily enough in this part of Kozhikode. Dhanavarna India Nidhi Limited is what we call ourselves on the official papers. Mostly, we just spend our days dealing with local folks who need to set some money aside or maybe get a little help with a small loan. It is a quiet setup here, which is how we like it. The office doesn't have fancy signs or expensive furniture. We have the basic stuff needed to keep the records straight. My desk is usually covered in some paperwork, and there is a chair for anyone who stops by to chat. Living and working in Payambra means we see the same faces every week. If you are coming from the city, it’s a bit of a drive, but the local crowd knows the way to the Maruthatt house. We have been here for a while and don't plan on moving.
