Co Operative Hospital

We've been running the Co Operative Hospital in Kuttiady for a long time now. It’s not a big fancy place with glass walls or anything like that, but it works for the folks around here. People know where we are. If you're looking for us, we’re right in the middle of town. Most days it’s pretty busy, especially in the mornings when everyone tries to get in at once. We have a few different rooms and the staff mostly grew up nearby, so they know the families. Sometimes the wait is a bit long, but that's just how it goes in a small place like this. We try to keep things simple. There isn't a lot of paperwork compared to the big city hospitals, which I think people appreciate. It's just a hospital run by the cooperative, meant for the local people who live in and around Kuttiady. We don’t spend much time on decorations or making things look pretty. We just focus on what needs to be done. Most of us have been working here for years, so we’ve seen kids grow up and older people come and go. It's just a part of the community here. You don’t need an appointment for everything, though it helps if you come early. We are just doing our job here in Kuttiady, keeping the doors open for whoever walks in. It’s been this way for years and we don’t plan on changing much.
