Classic Clinic Lab

You can find us on Convent Road at number 30/964D. Vadakara is a busy town and this road is no exception. We spend most of our day handling samples and running tests. The lab is filled with various machines and glass tubes that need constant cleaning. It’s a small team here. We start early in the morning because that’s when most people want to get their blood drawn before they head to work. The waiting area is just a couple of stools and a small counter. We don't have any decorations on the walls, just the necessary permits and some charts. The fridge in the back hums quite loudly, which is annoying but you stop noticing after an hour. Everything has to be labeled very carefully so we don't make any mistakes. It’s a lot of sitting and looking through things. We get people from all over Vadakara coming in with slips from their doctors. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desk and I have to spend the evening sorting through it. It’s not an exciting job but it is important for the people around here. We try to get the results back as fast as we can. The street outside is always noisy with motorcycles, but inside we try to keep things focused and calm. Most of our work comes from the clinics down the street. We just keep our heads down and do the testing.
