Cafe 150 Plus Shop

We are located at 3/511 on Nadakkavu Cross Road, right in the Mananchira area. It’s a good part of town to be in. The shop isn't massive, but we’ve made the most of the space we have over the years. There’s a lot of foot traffic here because of the park and the offices nearby. I usually start the day by setting out the chairs and making sure the counter is clear. We have a lot of different things on the shelves, and sometimes it looks a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is kept. The walls have a few old pictures on them, and the lighting is just some simple tubes that we flick on when it starts to get dim. It’s the kind of place where people pop in for a quick minute and end up staying for twenty just because they ran into someone they know. I spend a lot of time washing glasses and wiping down the tabletops with a rag. The sink in the back sometimes makes a weird gurgling noise, but we’ve learned to ignore it. It’s just part of the shop’s character, I guess. We don't have any big advertisements outside, just the name on the board. People know we are here. When the evening rush starts, it gets a bit loud, but it’s a nice kind of busy to have. We just keep at it until it’s time to lock up and head home for the night.
