Allied Engineering Company

You can find Allied Engineering Company at No.2/133H in the Nallalam Industrial Estate. We’ve been part of this industrial area for quite some time. It is a busy place with a lot of trucks moving in and out, but we like being in the middle of all that activity. Our day starts pretty early when we open up the shutters and get the machines warmed up. We do a lot of different engineering work, mostly focused on small parts and assemblies that larger companies need. It is a lot of repetitive work sometimes, but it needs to be done right or nothing else fits together later on. The workshop isn't anything special to look at. It has high ceilings and plenty of grease on the floor, which is pretty standard for what we do. We have a few guys who handle the machining and someone who looks after the orders and the billing. We don't go in for big meetings or polished presentations. Usually, a customer just brings in a sample or a blueprint, and we see what we can do. Some days are more hectic than others, especially when a big order is due, but we manage. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide what the local businesses need from us.
