Al Amen Global Exim Llp is located over at 43/2360-A, R Bazaar. We’re right on Saradhamandiram Road in Kozhikode. If you know the bazaar area, you know it’s always busy with trucks and people carrying stuff. We do a lot of export and import work, which basically means we spend our day on the phone or checking crates. It’s a lot of paperwork too, more than you’d think. The office is right in the middle of all the noise, which can be a bit much sometimes but it’s where the action is. We handle a lot of different goods, so every day is a bit different. One day it’s spices, the next it might be something else entirely. We don’t really have a fancy showroom. It’s mostly just a place to coordinate everything and make sure the containers get to the port on time. Kozhikode has a long history of trading, so we feel like we are just part of that old tradition. My uncle started helping me with the business a few years back, and now we have a couple of other guys who help with the heavy lifting and the logistics. It’s a lot of stress when a shipment is delayed, but we just take it as it comes. We try to keep things honest and just do our job without making a big fuss about it. It’s just how we earn our living every single day.
