Sri Vasavi Ganesh Granites

We are out at 45, Buddugode in the West Godavari district. Our yard is a decent size and we’ve been here for quite a while now. Most people around Buddugode know where we are. We handle many different types of granite slabs. Almost all our work is done outdoors, so we have to deal with the heat every day. It gets incredibly hot here in West Godavari. We have a small shed where we keep the machines for polishing and cutting. It gets very loud when we are working on an order. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning or anything like that. Just a small desk and a fan. My sons help me run the place now. We do all the heavy loading ourselves. It can be a struggle to find enough room when a new shipment arrives. We try to keep things organized but it is difficult with so much stone everywhere. People come to us because they know we have been in the business for a long time. We don't use any clever marketing. We just show the stone and tell them what it costs. If they like it, they take it. We have some regular customers who have been coming to us for years. It’s a lot of physical work and your hands get very rough from the grit. But we like what we do. It’s a steady living.
