Sri Jcb Spares

Our shop, Sri Jcb Spares, is in the Nks Building at E6-66. We are right near the Bsnl Office on the way toward Madurai Road in Vilathikulam. Being in the Tutucorin district, it gets quite warm, so we keep the fans going all day. The building is easy to spot once you get close to the Bsnl office. We mainly deal with spares for heavy equipment. The shelves are packed tight with all sorts of bolts, filters, and metal pieces. It is a bit of a maze inside, but we know our way around. People from all over the district come by when they have a breakdown. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing down part numbers on scrap paper. It’s a very practical kind of business. No one wears a suit here; we are usually in work clothes and have a bit of grease on our hands. The Madurai Road is always busy with trucks, which keeps things interesting. We have been in this part of Vilathikulam for a while and have seen the area change a bit, but our shop stays pretty much the same. It’s a reliable spot for those who need parts to keep their JCBs running on the local sites. We don’t have a website or anything, just the shop front and a sign out by the road to let people know we are here.
