Msherbals is right near the Wilson Milk Depot on East Street. If you know Kamanayakkanpatti at all, you probably pass us fairly often. We handle a lot of different herbs and natural things that people use. It’s a simple setup we’ve got here. The building isn't anything special to look at, but it does the job for storing what we need. We spend a lot of our time sorting through the stock and making sure everything is where it should be. Working near the milk depot means there’s always people coming and going, which makes the day go by faster. We aren't doing any big fancy advertising. Most people find out about us just by walking past or hearing from a friend in the neighborhood. We keep things pretty straightforward. If someone asks for a specific herb, we look for it. Sometimes we run out of things, that’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with natural products. It's a bit dusty sometimes because of all the dried plants, but we don’t mind. The street gets a little crowded in the mornings. We just open up and start the day’s tasks. It’s a small operation, just a few of us making sure things run okay. We like being in this part of town. It feels like home to us, and we’ve gotten to know the regulars pretty well over the years. It's just a regular local shop.
