Lakshmanan Agri

Down at 58 Alwar Street in Sevvalpatti, you’ll find our little place, Lakshmanan Agri. We focus on whatever the local farmers need. It’s mostly seeds, some tools, and advice if anyone asks for it. I’ve lived in Sevvalpatti all my life, so I know the soil around here pretty well. The shop is often a mess of bags and paperwork. I’m not the most organized person when things get busy. My desk is covered in receipts and old calendars. People come in with questions about their crops, and we talk it through. It’s a quiet street usually, except during planting season. Then it’s constant noise and movement. I do a lot of the heavy lifting myself, which is getting harder as the years go by. We don't have any big corporate backing. It’s just me and a helper sometimes. The floor is concrete and always has a bit of red dirt on it from people’s boots. We close up when the sun goes down, or whenever the last customer leaves. It’s a practical business. We aren't trying to change the world, just helping folks grow their food. Sometimes the supply truck is late, and I have to apologize to everyone. That’s just part of the job. It's a steady life here on Alwar Street. No complaints, really.
