Keerthiga Cement Works

Keerthiga Cement Works is based out of 13/6 in the Shanmugam Complex in Kovilpatti. It is a pretty straightforward setup we have here. We deal with cement bags all day long, so there is always a bit of dust in the air and on the furniture. The Shanmugam Complex is a busy place with a lot of different shops, so there are always people moving around. We have a small front area where we talk to people and a larger space in the back for the storage. Moving cement is hard on the back, so we take our time with the heavy lifting. The sun in Kovilpatti can be quite strong, and the warehouse gets warm in the middle of the day. We have a couple of large fans that help a bit, but mostly we just get used to the heat. Our routine is pretty much the same every day. We open up early, check what we have in stock, and wait for the delivery vehicles. We do not have any polished brochures or a fancy sales pitch. We just tell people what we have and the price. Sometimes the bags get a small tear and we have to patch them up so no cement is wasted. It is a messy job, but it is what we do. We have been here for a while and have a good rhythm going. The desk in the front is covered in a layer of dust no matter how often we wipe it.
