Gomathi Ambikai Driving School

Gomathi Ambikai Driving School is situated at 245 Kela Amman Sannathi in Sankarankoil. Being right there by the temple means we are in the middle of a very traditional part of town. The streets are narrow and there are always people walking around, so it is a good place to learn how to be careful behind the wheel. Our office is just a small, modest space where we keep our files and meet with students. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who do the teaching and the office work. The cars are parked nearby, and we are usually out on lessons from early in the morning. Learning to drive can be pretty stressful for some people, so we just try to keep things calm and talk them through it. We use everyday English and don't make things more complicated than they need to be. The furniture in the office is pretty old and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it doesn't affect how we teach. We have been part of this community for a long time, and people just know us by word of mouth. It is a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just focus on the driving and making sure our students are comfortable.
