Ck Fly Ash & Hollow Block

We are located at 117 Mathankovil Street in Sankarankovil. Most of our day is spent out back where the machines are running. Making hollow blocks is a noisy and messy process, but it is what we know how to do. The sun can be really brutal in this part of the country, so we try to get the heavy casting work done as early as we can in the morning. The yard is usually full of finished blocks drying out in the sun. We use fly ash and other materials, and it takes some time to get the mix just right so they don't crumble. We aren't a huge factory, just a local setup where a few of us work together every day. Mathankovil Street is usually quiet, but it picks up when the big trucks come to load the finished blocks. We have to be very careful when we move them so they don't crack before they get to the site. My clothes are usually covered in grey dust by the time I go home to my family. We don't have a website or anything like that; people just know we are here on the street by the sound of the work. If someone needs blocks for a wall or a new house, they just come by and talk to us. We write down the orders on whatever scrap of paper is handy at the time. It is steady work.
