We run Winfab Construction Engineers & Contractors from our place in Puthuvely, which is over in Monippally. If you know the M.C. Road area near Vikom Junction, you’ve probably passed by us. We’re a hands-on team, and you’re more likely to find us out on a site than sitting behind a desk. Our background is in engineering, but we do the actual contracting work too. This means we spend our days looking at structural details and then making sure the workers actually follow them. It’s a lot of coordination and checking things twice. Our office in Kottayam is where we keep all the technical manuals and project files, and it usually smells like old paper and coffee. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. We just rely on the work we’ve done in the area. People in Monippally know us, and we often get jobs just by word of mouth. Building things is hard work, especially with the costs of materials going up and down all the time. We try to keep things grounded and tell people exactly what they can expect. It’s not always perfect, and sometimes we run into unexpected problems underground or with the weather, but we stay until it’s finished. We’re just engineers who like to build things that last. It’s a steady job, and we’re happy to be doing it right here on M.C. Road. We just keep our focus on the engineering side of things.
