G. K. Exports

G. K. Exports is based right here on Angadimalika Sreenivasa Iyer Road, which is quite close to the Baker Junction in Kottayam. Being near Thirunakkara means there is always something happening outside our door. It is a convenient spot for us because the junction makes it easy for transport to move in and out. The office itself is pretty simple. We have our desks, some filing cabinets that have seen better days, and a lot of coffee cups lying around by the end of the afternoon. We spend most of our hours looking at schedules and talking to people about where their shipments are. It isn't always exciting work, but it is what we know how to do. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit of a mess, and that slows everything down, but we just wait it out. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small team of us who show up every morning and stay until the work is finished. We have been in this part of Kottayam for a while, so we know the shortcuts and the local shops nearby. Our day usually involves a lot of phone calls and double-checking lists. We don't really have a public showroom or anything flashy to look at. If you come by, you’ll just see us working away on our computers or talking to the delivery guys at the entrance. The building is older but it serves us well for our daily tasks.
