We are based out of the Puthen Vital Building in Thazhathangady. Our office is right by the post office and we are also quite close to the Thazhathangady Juma Masjid. It is an old part of town with a lot of history. We have been working as distributors from this location for quite some time now. The building isn't modern, but it has thick walls that keep it a bit cooler during the day. Our work mostly involves a lot of lifting and moving boxes. We get shipments in and then we have to sort them out for the local shops in the area. It can get pretty chaotic in the morning when the trucks are trying to park in the narrow streets near the mosque. We have a small team of guys who help with the loading. Most of us have been working together for years, so we have a system, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing things down in our ledgers. We don't use a lot of fancy software; we just stick to what we know works for us. Sometimes a shipment is late or something gets damaged in transit, and we just have to deal with it as it happens. We aren't a big company with a lot of rules. We just try to get the work done and keep things moving every day.
