PUNNORCODE KANAKA NIDHI LIMITED is located at Kochupurackal House. This is in Punnorcode, specifically in the Pazhamthottam P.O. area. It’s a quiet village setting, surrounded by a lot of greenery and trees. The house itself is where we spend our working hours. It is a traditional kind of place, nothing fancy or modern about the architecture. We like it that way because it feels familiar. The road leading up to the house is a bit narrow, but cars can get through fine. We have a small sign so people don't get lost looking for Kochupurackal. Inside, the rooms are cool because of the thick walls. We have our files and a couple of desks set up. Most of the time, it is just the sound of the birds outside and the occasional bike passing by. Pazhamthottam is a nice place to be based. We don't have a lot of walk-in traffic, which allows us to focus on the paperwork. There is a kitchen in the back where we make tea in the afternoons. It’s very much a local operation. We don’t have big computers or flashy screens everywhere. Just the essentials. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, so we just sit on the porch until it comes back. It’s a slow pace of life but the work gets finished. Our neighbors sometimes drop off extra fruit from their trees when they have too much.
