You can find us in Room 811/II at the Andumadam Shopping Complex. It’s on P P Road in Ponkunnam. The complex gets busy on market days, so parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We’ve been here in Kottayam for years now. The office isn't very big, mostly just shelves full of files and a few desks. We handle the chit business for the local crowd. It’s a lot of manual counting and writing in books. My pen always runs out of ink at the wrong time. Most of the people who come in are regulars. They’ve been with us for multiple cycles. We don't spend money on fancy signs or big ads. Word of mouth is how most people find us anyway. The shop next door makes good tea, so we’re often over there. Sometimes we stay late to finish the month-end tallies. It’s just regular work. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. It's just a place to manage the funds and keep things organized for the members. If you are walking down P P Road, just look for the Andumadam building. We are up there. It’s a simple routine we follow every day. Not much changes here, which is fine by us. We keep the books clean and the coffee hot. Just a regular bunch of guys working.
