Up here in Manarcadu, things happen at a slower pace than in the city. We work on agricultural stuff, mostly helping farmers figure out how to get their plants to grow a bit better. We spend a lot of time looking at different kinds of soil and testing seeds in the back. Our office is right in the middle of the local area, so we see the same people every single day. It gets a bit dusty when the trucks drive by on the dry days, but we don't mind it much. We aren't a big corporation with fancy suits or anything like that. Most of us just wear regular clothes and work boots because we are out in the dirt as often as we are inside. We try to learn what works best for this specific land around Manarcadu. It takes a lot of trial and error to see what makes the crops grow thick. The neighbors often stop by to say hello or to ask us a question about their own small garden plots. We keep our supplies piled up in the corners of the room. It might look a bit cluttered to someone who isn't used to it, but we know exactly where every bag is kept. The coffee pot is usually on and someone often brings in something to eat in the afternoons. We just focus on the job and try to be helpful to anyone who comes in through the door.
