Our Family Clinic

Our Family Clinic is situated in the SNDP Building in Koottar, which is part of the Idukki district. It’s a practical little spot for anyone in the area who needs a quick checkup. We have been in this building for some time now. The rooms are a bit small, but we make it work. Most of the people coming in are our neighbors or people passing through this part of the district. We don't have a fancy website or a big sign with lights. Just a simple board that says the name. Inside, it’s mostly just white walls and the smell of cleaning supplies. We deal with all sorts of small health issues every day. Sometimes a kid comes in with a scraped knee, or an older person needs their medicine checked. We keep our records in big folders on the shelves. It’s a lot of paperwork, but it’s how we keep track of things. The weather in Idukki can be a bit unpredictable, so we often have people coming in out of the rain. We try to keep the atmosphere calm, even when there are several people waiting at once. We don't use any big words or corporate talk. It’s just plain English and simple help. Being in Koottar means we are part of the local life here. We just do our work, close the clinic in the evening, and come back the next morning to do it again. It is a very simple way of living.
