Meenachil Diary Products Private Limited

We are situated at Uppenmakkal Stores in Moonnilavu, which is a hilly part of Kottayam. If you know the area, you know it’s a bit of a climb to get up here. We deal with dairy products, which means our schedule is tied to the cows and the morning milk collection. Everything starts very early, often while it’s still dark and chilly outside. We don't have any big flashy signs, just our place where the milk comes in and gets processed. The smell of fresh milk is something you never really lose. It’s a quiet life up here compared to the big cities, and we like it that way. The neighbors are mostly farmers who have been here for generations. We take the milk from the local area and do what needs to be done with it. Sometimes the roads get washed out during the monsoon, and that makes getting the products down the hill a real challenge. We’ve had to deal with that more times than I can count. Our team is small, mostly just family and a few locals who know the dairy business inside out. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just focus on the cans and the bottles. It’s a daily grind, but there’s something good about working with the land and the animals in a place like this.
