You can find us on the ground floor of Rehoboth Tower, which is on T B Road in Kottayam. The room number is D6. Being on the ground floor is handy because people don’t have to hunt for stairs or wait for the lift. T B Road is a busy stretch, so there’s always noise from the buses and cars outside. Our office isn't very big, but we’ve managed to fit in everything we need. There’s a front desk where we keep the main computer and a couple of chairs for visitors. We’ve been running Marian Study Abroad India Private Limited from this spot for a while. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s okay for now. We spend the day looking at university applications and checking visa requirements. It’s a lot of staring at screens. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It’s a very normal office. We don’t have any fancy decorations, just some calendars and a few maps on the walls. Most of the people who come in are students or their parents from around the neighborhood. We know the local shops nearby well, especially the one that makes the good tea. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to keep things moving. We usually close up around six in the evening and head home like everyone else in the tower. It’s steady.
