We are over here in Palluruthy, specifically in the building with the number 14/1732B. If you know the area, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times without thinking much of it. It’s just a regular office space where we handle the daily paperwork and talk to the people who live around here. Most days start with opening up the shutters and letting some air in, though it gets pretty humid being where we are in Kochi. We aren’t a big operation with glass walls or fancy suits. Usually, it is just a few of us sitting behind wooden desks dealing with the accounts. People from the neighborhood stop by to sort out their bits of business or sometimes just to ask a quick question about their papers. The building itself is okay, nothing special, but it serves our purpose well enough. We keep the files organized as best as we can, though sometimes the stacks get a bit high when it’s busy. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, seeing the traffic go by outside on the main road. It gets noisy in the afternoons when the schools let out and the buses start honking. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing for the local folks who come through our door. It is a simple setup, and that is how we like to run things day to day.
