We are located at 459 Kumily Road in Kanjikuzhi. It’s a decent spot, right where the traffic starts to pick up in the afternoons. Kaaval Security Systems Company started out small, and honestly, we’re still not a big operation. We have a few different types of cameras and alarm boxes on the shelves, but mostly we spend our time out on sites or sitting at the back desk checking some software. The office isn't anything special to look at. We have some old posters on the wall and a desk that’s seen better days. When someone walks in, they usually have a specific problem with a gate or a sensor, and we just talk through what can be done. Kanjikuzhi is a good community, and we’ve gotten to know a lot of the homeowners around Kumily Road over the years. Sometimes we have to wait a while for parts to arrive by courier, which can be annoying, but that's just part of the job. We don’t use any complicated talk. We just explain how the wires go and where the monitors should sit. Most days it’s just two of us here, and we handle everything from answering the phone to fixing a broken mount. It’s steady work and we like being in this neighborhood. The shop stays open until the evening when the streetlights come on. We usually close up and head home once the main rush of traffic dies down.
