Jose Enggineering Works

Jose Enggineering Works is located right on M C Road. We are near the chingavanam sndp, which is a pretty easy landmark for most people. The workshop is usually filled with the sound of metal hitting metal or the hum of a welder. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but it’s where we get the real work done. We’ve got grease on our clothes and dirt under our fingernails most days. That’s just the nature of engineering work in a place like Chingavanam. We started this because we like fixing things and making parts that actually last. The shop is open to the road, so it can get a bit hot in the afternoons. We have some old machines and some newer ones too. It’s a mix of whatever works best for the job. We don’t have a secretary or a front desk. If you come by, you’ll likely find us in the back working on something. Just shout if you don’t see us right away. M C Road is always busy with traffic, so there’s a lot of movement outside our doors. We’ve been part of this community for quite a while now. We know the local farmers and the truck drivers who pass through. It’s a simple life, focused on doing the repairs correctly. We don’t use big words or fancy talk here. We just look at the problem and try to solve it with the tools we have. It is just us here most days doing what needs doing.
