J.J Dental Clinic

The clinic is located in Kottayam. If you know the town, it’s easy enough to get around, but the rain can make things slow. We are in a small building that has been here for quite some time. The room where we see patients has a big dental chair and some cabinets for the tools. We keep the windows shut when it rains hard, which happens a lot here. You can hear the water hitting the roof. It’s a simple place with a small desk for the paperwork and a couple of chairs for people waiting their turn. Most of our patients are from the nearby houses or shops. We don't spend money on big signs or glossy brochures. People just know us because we’ve been here. Sometimes we have tea in the back when there’s a break between appointments. The floor is made of old tiles that are easy to mop. We keep a light on in the hallway even during the day because it can get a bit dark inside. It’s just a regular dental clinic. We fix teeth and talk to the neighbors. There is nothing fancy about it. We open up at the same time every morning and close when the last person is done. It’s a quiet life in Kottayam, and we like the rhythm of it. We just do our work and go home when the sun sets.
