Indiparambil Chits Private Limited is based out of the Kallukalam Complex in Nalukody. Our office is B-264. It’s a decent sized building and we’ve been here in Changanacherry-Kottayam for some time now. Dealing with chits is what we do, which basically means we help people save together and take turns with the lump sum. It's a very old way of doing things, but it still works for a lot of families around here. The office is tucked away in the complex, filled with cabinets and plenty of paper because we still like to keep physical records of everything. It’s a bit of a trek to Nalukody if you aren't from this side of town, but for the locals, it's just a short trip. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate slogans. We just open the office, drink some tea, and get to work on the chit cycles. People come in to pay their monthly amounts or to see who won the latest auction. It can get a bit loud on those days, but that's just how a chit office is. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We’re just a small private company trying to keep the books balanced and the members happy. If you wander into the Kallukalam Complex, just look for B-264 and you’ll see our sign. It's a practical, busy little office for the community.
