Harish Ice Cream Shop

Our little shop is right on Kumarakom Road in Thirunakkara. If you know the area, you know it can get pretty busy with traffic and people walking to the local spots. We decided to set up here because there’s always someone looking for a quick break. It is just a small room with a few freezers, nothing too complicated. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know how to handle the rush when school lets out or when the buses stop nearby. The road outside can be noisy, but inside it’s quiet enough to pick out what you want. We have been serving the people in this part of town for a while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Despite the changes, we’ve kept the shop pretty much the same. People like that they know what to expect when they walk in. We stock the usual stuff, the things that kids and parents always ask for. There’s no fancy menu or anything like that. We just write the prices on a board and keep the floor swept. It’s a simple life running a shop like this, but we enjoy seeing the same regulars coming back every week. We stay open until late evening because that’s when the air finally cools down a bit and the humidity drops for a while.
