Every Needs

Every Needs is based at the Manakkattu house in Nellikuzhi. We are under the Nellikuzhi post office area in Kothamangalam, which is part of the Ernakulam district. It is a family-owned business, and we operate right from our home premises. This means the line between work and home is a bit blurry sometimes. We use the lower part of the house and the yard for storing all our goods. It’s a quiet village setting with a lot of greenery around us. We don't have a big store with glass windows or bright lights. Most people just walk up the driveway when they need something. We try to keep a bit of everything that a household might need, hence the name Every Needs. It started small and has grown just enough to keep us busy. My wife handles the books in the evening after the kids are in bed. We don't have any employees, it’s just us. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to talk for a bit. The roads in Kothamangalam are narrow and winding, which can make deliveries a bit slow during the monsoon season. We don't mind the slower pace of life here. It’s a lot better than being stuck in the middle of a big city. We just do our best to provide what the local folks are looking for. It’s a simple, honest way to live and work.
