Don Motor Driving School

We are located right near the Shiv Temple here in Muvattupuzha. It’s a busy spot but we’ve been around for a good while now, helping folks from around Cochin get behind the wheel. Don Motor Driving School started because we saw how many people needed to learn properly before getting out on these roads. Most days you’ll find us out with students, teaching them how to handle the clutch and the gears without stalling in the middle of traffic. It’s not always easy, especially when the roads get crowded during festival times at the temple, but we manage. We use a few different cars that are easy for beginners to learn on. Our instructors are just local people who know these specific streets well. We don't have a big fancy office, just our place here at No. 5. People usually just walk in or call us up when they are ready to start their classes. We try to be patient because everyone learns at their own pace. Some take a week to get it, others take a month. We just sit in the passenger seat and keep an eye on things. It’s a simple living for us. If you’re walking past the temple, you’ll probably see our cars parked nearby or heading out for another lesson. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but the driving lessons stay pretty much the same. Just trying to help people get their license so they can get to work.
