Designing Factory

Our shop, Designing Factory, is located at Kvms Junction in Ponkunnam. It’s a busy corner of the road, and we’re usually right in the thick of it from morning until evening. We do a lot of different things here, from small print jobs to helping people figure out how their signs or banners should look. We have a couple of computers and some printers that hum all day long. It’s not a silent studio; there’s usually some music playing on a small radio or the sound of the machines working. We don't have a lot of fancy talk about "design philosophy" or anything like that. We just look at what you need and try to make it look right on the paper or the board. Sometimes we get it right on the first try, and other times we have to sit and fiddle with the colors for a while until it looks good. We use simple tools and we don't mind getting our hands dirty with the ink or the paper. The office is a bit small for all the things we have, and we have samples of old work pinned up on the walls everywhere. It’s a bit of a creative mess, but it works for us. People from around the junction often drop in just to say hello or ask for a quick favor with a document. We like being part of the local scene here in Ponkunnam. It’s a good place to work. We just take one project at a time and try to finish it properly.
