Ben Earth Movers

If you take the road from Erattupetta toward Wagamon, you’ll find our place in Teekoy. Ben Earth Movers has been operating out of this spot at number 21 for a few years now. The terrain around here is no joke. It’s steep and rocky, so the machines take a real beating every single day. I’ve lived in this area my whole life and I know these hills like the back of my hand. We handle everything from clearing small plots for houses to helping out when the heavy rains wash out a bank near the road. It’s a lot of work keeping the excavators running smoothly in this weather. The humidity is always high, and things just seem to wear out faster than they should. Our shop is just a simple building. It’s usually got a couple of guys hanging around or a machine parked out front waiting for a trailer to arrive. We don't have fancy brochures or a dedicated sales team. If someone needs a hole dug or a driveway cleared of rocks, they just give me a call. I usually answer the phone myself while I’m driving or out on a site. It can be loud and messy, but I like being outdoors more than being in an office. We don't pretend to be anything we aren't. We’re just local people with some heavy equipment trying to make a living in the hills. We keep our heads down and work hard.
