Arnakal Avt Spices

Arnakal Avt Spices is situated over in Kudamaloor, specifically at the Ambadi Kavala junction. It’s a quiet enough area most days, except when the harvest is coming in. We spend our time dealing with different kinds of spices that come through here. It is a very hands-on kind of job. The building isn't new, and the paint is peeling in some corners, but it works for what we need. We don't spend money on fancy signs or decorations. We just focus on the bags and the sorting. My cousin works here with me most days. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for deliveries to arrive. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit muddy, which slows things down, but we manage. People in Kudamaloor know us as the place that always smells like pepper and cardamom. We don't do any big advertising. Word of mouth is how we get things done around here. It is just a local business trying to make a living. The space is filled with sacks and the sound of the weighing scale. It’s nothing special to look at, just a place of work. We’ve been at Ambadi Kavala for years and don't plan on going anywhere else. It’s a simple setup for a simple life. We like the way things are and we just keep moving forward one day at a time without too much fuss.
