Our office is located right at Central Junction in Erattupetta, which is a pretty busy area to be in. We are quite close to Kurikkal Nagar, so there is always a lot of movement around here. We handle both the engineering side and the actual contracting, which keeps us on our toes. It is not always easy balancing the office work with the site visits, but that is just how the business goes. In Kottayam, you have to be careful about how you build because of the terrain and the rain we get. We spend a lot of time out at the work sites, making sure the workers have what they need and that the project is following the plan. When we are back at the junction, it is mostly about paperwork and sorting out supplies. The office is a bit of a mess sometimes with all the site notes and material samples lying around on the tables. We have been doing this for a while now, and we know most of the local suppliers and craftsmen. People stop by to discuss their new builds or renovations, and we just give them a straight answer about what can be done and what cannot. It is practical work, and we do not see the need for a lot of big talk. We just focus on getting the foundations poured and the walls up so people can move into their spaces. It is a long day usually, but it feels good to see a building finally finished.
