Andumaly Trinity Ayurveda Hospital

Our hospital, Andumaly Trinity Ayurveda, is located over in Panampalam Arpookara East. We are quite close to the main Kottayam medical college, which makes it easy for people to find us. It’s a bit quieter out here than in the middle of the city. We do traditional Ayurvedic treatments, so there is usually the smell of herbs and oils in the air. People come to us for all kinds of reasons, maybe a back problem or just feeling worn out. We have rooms for patients who need to stay for a week or two for their treatments. It’s a simple setup. We don't have those big glass windows or shiny lobbies. Instead, we have wooden tables and plenty of medicine being prepared in the back area. The staff here mostly grew up around this area, so we talk to patients like they are neighbors. Sometimes the weather gets a bit damp, being in this part of Kerala, but it’s good for the plants we use in our preparations. We spend a lot of time checking on everyone and making sure the oils are warm enough. It is just a steady, daily rhythm of helping people get back on their feet using the old ways. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, and most folks around Arpookara know the way to our gate by heart. It’s just how things are around here, day after day.
