Clair Earth Movers

Up in Kothagudem, specifically in Nargondkar Nagar, you’ll find Clair Earth Movers. Our place is at 3-2-206. It’s a dusty part of the Khammam district, but that’s where the work is. We’ve got a small crew of guys who don’t mind getting their hands dirty. The heat here can be pretty intense during the summer months, which makes working in the metal cabs of those machines feel like being in an oven. We do what we can to keep the machines in good shape, though they’ve definitely seen better days. There’s always something that needs fixing, like a hydraulic leak or a busted track. We do a lot of leveling for new houses and sometimes help out with the bigger projects around the district when they need extra hands. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a secretary to answer the phones. Usually, one of us just picks up while we’re in the middle of a job. It’s loud in the background, so you might have to shout. We like the work because you can see what you’ve done at the end of the day. You start with a big pile of dirt or a messy plot of land, and by evening, it’s all cleared out and ready. It’s a good feeling to look back at a finished site. We’ve been part of this community for years.
