Automotive Enterprises

Our place, Automotive Enterprises, is located at Pitha Ram Ji Ka Bagh on Chainpura Road. We are quite close to Lal Sagar, so it’s easy enough to find if you know that landmark. Jodhpur can get really dusty, and our shop is no exception to that. We spend a lot of time sweeping out the sand that blows in from the road. The workshop area is where most of the action happens. We have got tools scattered around and parts stacked up against the walls. It is a bit cluttered but we know where everything is. We usually open up early before the sun gets too high and the heat becomes unbearable. There’s a small bench where customers can sit while we talk about what their vehicle needs. We don't use any fancy systems for tracking jobs, just some slips of paper and a bit of memory. The road outside is always busy with people heading toward the city. We have a few regulars who drop in just to check on things or grab a glass of water. It is a practical kind of business. We don't spend money on shiny signs or ads. We just focus on the work right in front of us. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the traffic go by, and other days we don't even have time to eat lunch because there is so much to handle at once.
