Dev Stone Cladding

Our place is located near Railway Road in the Faridkot district. We do stone cladding, which basically means we spend our time around lots of stone and dust. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, but we like it well enough. We’ve been based here for a while, and most of the locals know us by now. The sound of the trains passing by is something we’ve just gotten used to over the years. We keep different types of stone out in the front so people can see what the cladding looks like once it’s finished. There isn't a fancy office with a receptionist; you usually just find us in the back working on a piece or loading up a truck. We don't put much stock in big advertisements. Most people find out about us because they saw some work we did on a house down the street or a friend told them to come by. The weather in Faridkot can be tough, either too hot or too cold, but we keep the work going either way. We try to be honest about how long a job will take, even if it’s not what the person wants to hear. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words, just trying to provide the stone people need for their walls. It’s a small shop, but we keep busy and that’s what matters to us.
