Anika Polymers

Anika Polymers is situated out in Nandigoma village, which falls under the Kothur Mandal. Our specific location is at Sy.No.1941/41, and it is a bit of a drive from the main city areas. Being out here gives us more room to handle the polymer materials and the machinery we use. The village is quiet compared to the big industrial zones, but there is still a lot of movement around our site. We have a lot of space for storage, which is important when you are dealing with bulk polymers. Every day we deal with the logistics of getting supplies in and sending finished goods out. The roads around Kothur can be rough sometimes, especially after a heavy rain, but we are used to it by now. We have a small group of workers who come in from the nearby areas. We do not have any big corporate structure here at Anika Polymers. It is just a straightforward place where we focus on the production side of things. We keep the machines running and make sure the inventory is tracked correctly on our clipboards. It is a practical life out here at survey number 1941/41. We focus on the polymers and try to keep everything organized. The sun gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we usually try to get the heavy loading done early in the morning before it gets too uncomfortable in the sheds.
