We are set up at Plot No. 2, 3, and 4 in the Surbhi Industry Estate out in Kothariya. It’s a big area and we have a fair amount of space across those plots. Being in an industrial estate means there is always noise from neighbors and trucks coming and going. It’s a dusty part of town, especially when the wind picks up around Survey No. 204. Our day usually starts pretty early before the sun gets too hot. Most of the work involves the actual casting processes, so it gets warm inside the sheds. We have a lot of equipment to look after and the floors are rarely clean for long. It’s just the nature of this kind of work. We aren't sitting at desks all day. Most of us are on our feet, checking on the molds or moving materials around. It’s a practical place for practical people. We don't have a big fancy lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably see us in our work clothes, busy with whatever is on the schedule for that shift. Kothariya is a growing area for industry, so there is always something happening nearby. We just focus on our plots and getting the orders ready. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do. The guys here have been doing this for years, and we just keep at it.
